"Remnants of Old Glory: Second Chronicle" is the sequel to "Requiem of Old Glory." This sequel is a continuation and conclusion of the stories from Las Vegas and San Diego. New characters mixed with old characters make up the survivors in both scenarios. Similar to Requiem, Remnants is separated into two parts - Las Vegas: The Hand of God and San Diego: Revelations. 

In Remnants, the June 5th attacks have been designated 'T-Day' by many of the survivors. The Tainted have begun to mutate into terrifying abominations with nightmarish physiological features. This includes evolved behavioral underpinnings that continue to baffle observers. Survivors have quickly adapted to the deadly circumstances surrounding T-Day and the Tainted virus. What will these remnants of Las Vegas and San Diego discover as they come face-to-face with this new species in their objectives to build permanent fortified sanctuaries? 

Las Vegas: The Hand of God

"Las Vegas: The Hand of God" starts with the mission of Carl Edwards to find and rescue his friend Emily Sands. Accompanied by two security officers from the Plaza Hotel, the trio trek across the infested Vegas Strip to locate and rescue Emily's group. How will Emily respond to the arrival of her friend Carl? What dangers await them as they journey across the Vegas Strip? 

With the assistance of her faithful companion Gabby (a golden retriever), and her spiritual faith, Emily manages to locate and rescue several survivors. Holed up inside of a secret room at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Emily has kept her group safe from harm and discovery by the Tainted. The arrival of a mystery woman leaves her group in disarray and divided, but one unread text will change the negative atmosphere. Low on provisions, and surrounded by an army of monsters, will Emily's faith and leadership lead to ruin, or salvation? 

At the Plaza Hotel, Captain Hart has begun to build a long-lasting sanctuary. These brave souls realized quickly that no rescue was coming, so instead they sought to create a survivable future for their new community. An unexpected arrival of a military column stirs up a hornets' nest on The Strip, meanwhile, a separate team from the Plaza discover an evil far worse than the Tainted. Will these new circumstances destroy any chance of survival, or transform this ragtag group into a last beacon of hope for the nation?

Even when all appears lost, there is still hope.

San Diego: Revelations

"San Diego: Revelations" begins about a month after T-Day with the former San Diego SWAT member, Ofc. John Carter being held captive aboard a US navy aircraft carrier. The self-accused Carter has devolved into a shadow version of his former identity due to the circumstances surrounding his escape. After floundering alone with his thoughts on the tides of the Pacific Ocean, he is starved by guilt and thirsty for vengeance. Carter is recruited to join a team of Naval officers and Navy SEALs to discover the mystery behind the June 5th attacks. Will Carter find redemption, or will the truth reveal far worse than he can bear? 

Aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, Commander Hodges and XO Cooper receive a radio message that implores them to investigate a secret group accused of facilitating the attacks on the nation. While the information is vague, the lead will unravel a dark conspiracy no one imagined existed. Will the team of Navy SEALs with the help of Carter discover the truth behind T-Day? Or will they succumb to the same fate as the rest of the nation?

Everyone deserves a second chance, but too often redemption requires sacrifice.
